Why I Built This

My name is Evan Kim. I've spent the better part of the last several years managing social media content — first for a small brand in Seoul, then as a freelance content strategist for clients who needed a steady stream of polished visuals across every major platform.

At some point I realized I was spending more time resizing images than I was creating them. I'd export a graphic at what I thought was the right size, upload it, and watch it get cropped in a way that cut off the logo. Or the profile photo I uploaded would look sharp in the uploader preview but come out blurry once it propagated to mobile. Or I'd spend fifteen minutes hunting through a platform's help center, find a dimension spec that was two years out of date, and then troubleshoot why it still wasn't right.

I was doing this across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, TikTok, Pinterest, and half a dozen others — each with its own quirks, device-specific crops, and silent update cycles that made yesterday's spec wrong today.

SocialSizer is my answer to that problem. One place, all the specs, verified against the actual platform behavior — not against whatever the help center happened to say last year. I built the image resizer into the site because I wanted the lookup and the fix to happen in the same tool, without ever leaving the page.
